Ground with textures

Here is a first cut at the long distance textures for the ground.  The fields and roads are based on a 1912 map by John Rullman which documented the lands of owners in Bexar in 1836.  Adjustments have been made to align roads with an 1845 map, the Sanborn map and modern topo data.  The bird’s eye view duplicates the perspective of the painting by George Nelson titled San Antonio de Bexar 1836.  The view is from a camera that is approximately 2000 ft above ground level.

Much more work to be done.
